Richmond Curling Club is run by the generosity and dedication of its volunteers. We are able to maintain our low membership fees based on the assumption that all members are expected to volunteer at least once throughout the year. All members are encouraged to support the club by volunteering. There are many areas where your expertise is welcomed, including but not limited to:

1.     League and bonspiel planning & scheduling
2.    Finance (budgets, contracts, fundraising) 
3.    House & Ice (building maintenance, help with ice maintenance)
4.    Strategic Planning Team (business plan review)
5.    Bar (bartending, bar maintenance, bar planning)
6.    Kitchen (shopping, cooking, serving, cleaning up)
7.    Publicity, Public Relations & Promotion
8.    Officiating, Coaching and Instruction
9.    Junior Curling Program
10.   Volunteer Management
11.   Social Event Planning and Arranging
12.   Membership Recruitment & Retention

   To volunteer, indicate your preference on the Registration form. More information is also available at Registration Weekend and on the club bulletin boards. There are sign-up sheets and notices on bulletin boards around the for various operations of the club. Look for representatives of these committees and choose how you want to be involved. Board members can be contacted at any time to inform you of any volunteer opportunities that you might enjoy. You’ll find contact information on this website, and in the club telephone directory which will be available a few weeks after registration.
